Two Double Before Break

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Justin Gardenhire opened to 12,000 early and got action from the small blind, who shoved all in for 39,000 effective on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} flop. Gardenhire splashed in a quick call.

Gardenhire: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Two bricks fell and "Gardy" doubled up.

At another table, Mike Fick limped and shoved over a Duma Lowery raise with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Lowery called with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Neither player improved and Lowery sent Fick most of his stack.

Andre Allen limped under the gun and called a raise from Jose Montes to about 21,000. Both checked the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and a {5-Clubs} hit the turn. Allen bet 29,000, and Montes moved all in. Allen seemed pained but called after about 30 seconds.

Allen: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Montes: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

It was set over set on the flop, and the {6-Diamonds} filled both players up but Montes held the bigger boat.

The tournament is now hand-for-hand on the bubble.

Justin Gardenhire just lost a race with {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} against an opponent who shoved over his raise with {5-}{5-Clubs}. "Gardy" hit a king on the turn but his opponent found a set on the river. Gardy is looking to final table his second straight RunGood event but he has a lot of work to do now.

Moore Doubles Through Fick

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jerry Moore was in the small blind and checked a {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Mike Fick made it 25,000 to go, and Moore shoved all in. Fick double-checked his cards and quickly called.

Fick: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Moore: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Moore's set was in fantastic shape, and a {10-Diamonds} turn gave him no reason to sweat the river. He collected 160,000 from Fick.

Dylan Meier opened for a raise to 23,000 and got one caller before Yash Mudireddy pushed all in from the button for 78,000. Meier called, and the other player folded, saying he had jacks.

Mudireddy: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Meier: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Mudireddy was looking to pair up but the {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} rolled off the deck to give Meier a straight.

"I Must Have the Third-Best Hand"

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Chris Wicks
Chris Wicks

Three players saw a {j-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and action checked to Andre Allen, who bet 13,000. Justin Gardenhire called in the small blind, as did Chris Wicks in the big. Gardenhire came out betting with 21,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn, and Wicks stacked 21,000, looked at his stack, and announced he was all in. Allen counted out enough to call, but it was nearly all of his stack. After thinking a long while, he folded.

"I must have the third-best hand," Gardenhire said with a smile. He released, and asked Allen if he folded ace-jack.

Allen said he had ace-three.
