RunGood Poker Series Returns to Tulsa Hard Rock

Jeri Sieber won the last Tulsa Stop in May.
Jeri Sieber won the last Tulsa Stop in May.

The RunGood Poker Series returns to the Hard Rock Tulsa for the fifth time for the End of Summer Series featuring a $100,000 guarantee on the $675 Main Event. There are three Day 1 Flights leading up to Day 2's final. In addition to the guarantee, RunGood has added multiple prizes to give away.

The first of the three flights kicks off Friday night at 7 pm, Saturday's Day 1B kicks off at noon and the final Flight C at 7 pm. The tournament schedule calls for each flight to play 12 full levels or until 15% of the field - whichever should happen first.

Players begin with a 20,000-chip stack with unlimited re-entry until the start of Level 9. The field will get a 15-minute break every two hours of play - each level is 30 minutes until the final table when they go up to 60 minutes each.

The winner of the event joins Ryan Tepen, Jeri Sieber, Chris Wicks and Mike Sortino as RunGood stop champs. Sieber is the former Tulsa champ of 2016 with Troy Repp and Aaron Clark winning Tulsa in 2015. Ross Bybee beat out Brandy Bullard for the inaugural event in 2014.

Sieber topped a stacked final table with Justin Gardenhire finishing runner-up, Michael Sanders, Sam Abernathy and Mina Greco all in the final nine. But with Run Good pros Huy Nguyen, AP Phaurat, Gardenhire, Jordan Gaviano, Bryan Campenello and Daniel Lowry already spotted in the poker room, at title defense will prove to be difficult.

Cards are scheduled to fly promptly at 7 pm and keep right here at PokerNews for all the action.

Gary Burrell opened the action, Bob Holmes called and the flop came {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Holmes bet 700, Burrell called and the turn came {6-Spades}. Both players checked, the turn came {J-Clubs} and Burrell check-called 1,200.

He mucked his {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} when Holmes showed {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for a rivered two pair and took the pot.
