RGPS Tulsa Hard Rock Main Event Profile: The Janitor
Ryan Phan became a more well-known name in the poker world thanks to his deep run in the WSOP Main Event this past summer. Phan finished 11th for $725,000, which at the time was his only six-figure score and by far his largest cash.
Before the Main Event run, Phan was making a name for himself in the WSOP circuit with 38 WSOP cashes and almost $400,000 in tournament winnings.
Phan and his parents immigrated from Vietnam when he was 11 and his ultimate poker goal is to buy his parent's a house and make it possible to fulfill their dream of moving back to Vietnam. He also wants to invest in real estate and possibly own a restaurant at some point.
