Weitzel Back At It

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Bonnie Weitzel was recently seen having been eliminated from the tournament. She was not gone for long, however, as she was just seen in a new seat after having gotten right back in on the action. It didn't take long for her to get her chips in the middle again, doing so preflop from early position; though the only player to give her action had less chips than her to start the hand.

All-In Player: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Bonnie Weitel: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Weitzel was out in front with her jacks and stayed there the whole way as the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to secure her the knockout.

Samuels Dusts Thornton, Eclipses Six Figures

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Suzan Samuels
Suzan Samuels

Suzan Samuels had bet 12,000 from the big blind on a board of {j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} into her opponent, Schuyler Thornton, who was on the button. There appeared to be about 15,000 in the pot prior to the bet and Thornton put out chips to call.

The river fell {2-Spades} and Samuels bet another 12,000. Thornton shoved all in for around 32,000 and Samuels called.

Thornton tabled his hand and Samuels followed, showing {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The dealer quickly mucked Thornton's hand as he tapped the table and stood up from his seat to make his way from the tournament area as the pot was sent Samuels' way.

Sadka Wins at Showdown

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

"Dirty" Bill Sadka opened to 1,500 from middle position and saw action fold around to the player on the button, who called. The small blind also called to take action three ways to a flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Action checked to the player on the button, who bet 2,000 and got a fold from the small blind before Sadka tossed in chips to call.

The turn came {5-Clubs} and action went check-check. Both players checked again on the river {10-Spades} to take the hand to showdown.

Sadka showed {k-Clubs}{9-Spades} for kings up with no kicker above the board's ten, prompting a muck from his opponent that resulted in the pot being sent his way.

Meanwhile, another RunGood Ambassador has been spotted at the tables in Ray Henson, who has chipped up to about 32,000 since taking his seat.

Brandon Gilliam opened the action with a raise to 1,600 from middle position and was three-bet to 4,000 by the player on the button. Dacoda Salter was in the big blind and cold four-bet to 8,000. Gilliam thought for a few moments and put in chips to call, as did the player on the button.

The three saw a flop of {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Salter, first to act, announced a continuation-bet of 15,000. Both Gilliam and the player on the button folded without much thought and Salter took down the pot.

Another Gilliam Sighting

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Tim Gilliam was seen earlier in the tournament having chipped up a bit. Despite still having a stack that is above the 20,000-starting mark, he is well behind his brother. Brandon Gilliam was just spotted in the tournament as well, already having chipped up to over three starting stacks.

The Gilliam brothers have been in the habit of both making it into the money in tournaments they enter, having both been a part of a four-way chop in the opening event here at RGPS Bossier City. The two also recently both made the money at the WinStar River Labor Day $1,500 Main Event, where Tim took 58th place for $5,115 and Brandon finished in 37th place, earning a payday of $6,525.
