Jacob Seale Eliminated by Ben Wright

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Wright is 22 and playing one of his first-ever live poker events.

All-American Dave Swanson put him into one of the satellites earlier today and he won his seat. Swanson is Wright's brother in law and is visiting with his sister Amanda and Dave.

He's working his way through the field so far as the deadline for late registration looms.

He raised to 3,000 and got two callers, including Jacob Seale from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and all three players checked.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and the small blind checked. Seale bet 15,000, basically going all in and Wright raised.

The small blind folded.

"You really have ace-jack," Seale said as he turned over {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Wright did indeed turn over {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for broadway and eliminated Seale when the {5-Hearts} hit the river.

Andrew Sterkel Sends One Home

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was some previous action and the player in the big blind shoved all in for about 13,000.

Andrew Sterkel moved all in over the top for about 17,000.

Megan Moore and Travis Speck folded and Sterkel showed {q-}{q-} against the {a-}{10-} of his opponent.

The board ran out clean for Sterkel and he won the hand and send the big blind player to the rail.

John Hanney Doubles Through Jim Traber

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Four players saw the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop and Megan Moore bet after Greg Jennings checked.

John Hanney, Jim Traber, and Greg Jennings called — Jennings was in the small blind and left himself with 2,200.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Jennings checked. Moore checked as well before Hanney moved all in for 4,500. Traber was the lone caller.

Traber had {a-}{4-} against the {k-}{q-} of Hanney.

The river was the {k-} and Hanney doubled up.
