Spriggs Shows the Bluff

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Rodney Spriggs, who is fresh off winning the WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant Event #12: $250 NLH for $20,317 and his second circuit ring, raised to 1,600 from early position and picked up a called in the form of WSOP bracelet winner Bryan Campanello in the big blind.

Campanello check-called a bet of 2,400 on the {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop and then opted to lead out for 4,000 on the {j-Spades} turn. Spriggs made the call and then bet 11,000 after Campanello checked the {k-Spades} river.

Campanello thought long and hard before folding and Spriggs smiled and said, "Ace high."

He then flashed the {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for the missed open-ender on the flop.
