Story Time With Ray Rife and Danny Padilla

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Danny Padilla is now up to 242,000 after a huge pot that included Ray Rife and another player. The other player was eliminated.

According to the players, Rife made it 5,600 preflop and both Padilla and the other player called.

The flop came five-high, {5-}{4-}{2-}, and Rife was the first to start the betting. He made it 6,500 and the player behind him made it 26,500. Padilla moved all in for a stack that covered both his opponents. Rife folded. He says he folded aces and the other player called with king-high.

Padilla had a set of fives and collected another massive pot. He's now the overwhelming chip leader with 42 players remaining in Day 1a.
