The final flight of the RunGood Poker Series main event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs has finished.

Saturday saw two starting flights and a total of 258 players queueing up between both the flights. Mike Vanier (242,000) bagged the big stack from the early flight which saw 38 players advance.

Lucas Kolbe (260,000) bagged the largest stack in the evening flight in front of 23 others who were the final additions to Day 2.

A total of 368 players took their shots and 83 remain. Danny Padilla bagged the overall chip lead in the opening flight on Friday night with 382,000.

A few former winners of this event will not be making a repeat performance. Mike Fouts, Nick Burris, and Derrick Contreras all failed to make Day 2.

The final day of the RGPS will help us crown the All Stars casino champion and let us know the first two players who will be going to the All Stars event in the PokerGO studio.

Kipp Smith Eliminates Jon Stanfield

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Kipp Smith limped from middle position and Jon Stanfield raised all in from the button for about 39,000. Papa Karn folded in the big blind after thinking for a moment and Smith called.

Smith had {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Smith held on to win with a full house.

Nick Burris Eliminated

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Nick Burris got all in against Ray Cruz Jr and was barely covered holding {10-}{10-} against the {k-}{k-} of Cruz Jr.

The board was already completed and Burris counted out the last of his chips as Cruz Jr seems relieved.

The table had been sending each player to the rail with "the chop" as many of them are from the Kansas City area and play in Monday Night Poker.
