Welcome to the Inaugural RunGood All-Stars ProAm

The inaugural RunGood All-Stars ProAm is set to begin at noon PT at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The RunGood All-Stars ProAm is a two-day event featuring 32 RunGood Poker Series qualifiers from across the country as well as 32 invited celebrities, poker media, and poker players. This 64-player field will have two days of live PokerGO coverage, including the entirety of the final table, and the winner will receive a custom trophy presented by RunGood and PokerGO.

Some of the players in the field include 2021 WSOP Main Event champion Koray Aldemir, "Boston" Rob Mariano, Jamie Kerstetter, Veronica Brill, Joe Stapleton, Brad Owen, Beth Hall, Michael Ian Black, Nate Silver, Jeff Platt, and Maria Ho.

Levels are 30 minutes with a 10-minute break every three levels. The tables are seated 8-handed. There is one re-entry allowed and registration is open through level six with a 30-minute dinner break planned after level 12. The poker shot clock is 30 seconds with six 30-second time banks each day. Unused time banks can be used the next day and the final seven players will receive six additional time banks.

The plan today is to play down to the final seven players or until 2 a.m., with the remaining players returning for Day 2 at noon PT tomorrow where they will play to a winner. Stay tuned as PokerNews continues to bring you coverage of the 2021 RunGood All-Stars ProAm.

Flopped Wheel Over Top Set Over Middle Set

On a flop, Dave "All-American Dave" Swanson and Richard Solomon got their stacks in along with James Heyman who had both players covered.

Swanson and Solomon flopped sets but it was Heyman ahead with his straight. The came on the turn, and the completed the board to give Heyman the huge pot and knock out two players, who then re-entered.

Platt Takes Ludlow's Stack Again

Not too long ago, Jeff Platt took all of Ben Ludlow's chips. Ludlow re-entered and drew the same seat.

Platt's thirst for Ludlow's chips appeared to have not been quenched as he once again had Ludlow at risk when he called in early position against Ludlow's small blind jam for about 75,000 chips.

Ludlow ran into Platt's rockets and found no help as the board ran out to eliminate him for good as his re-entry was already exhausted, leaving him with more free time today than he had planned.

"Well, I guess I'm gonna get blacked out now," Ludlow joked. "Good luck everyone... even Jeff."

Aldemir Cracks Stapleton's Cowboys

Koray Aldemir opened to 12,000 in middle position and Joe Stapleton jammed in his stack of around 110,000 from the small blind. Aldemir quickly called.

Stapleton was in great shape as the came on the flop. However, the provided more of a sweat, and the spiked the river to send "Stapes" to the rail, while the 2021 Main Event champ couldn't help but grin.

Johnnie Moreno opened to 12,000 in the cutoff and Frank Kassela jammed in his stack from the small blind. Moreno called and hands were revealed.

The flop kept Teebagy ahead and changed nothing. The turn gave Mesina one additional unlikely out if the case four were to come, but the dealer put down the to complete the board and oust Mesina as the bubble boy, while the 13 remaining players are now in the money.

Ebony Kenney opened on the button, Lisa Teebagy called in the small blind, and James Heyman called in the big blind.

The flop was checked around. The came on the turn and Teebagy checked. Heyman then bet 45,000, Kenney folded, and Teebagy called.

The completed the board and after Teebagy checked, Heyman jammed. Teebagy tanked before eventually making the call.

Heyman showed which was no good against the of Teebagy, and Heyman headed out of the tournament.
