Danielle Andersen

Day 1 of the 2021 RunGood All-Stars ProAm saw 88 total entries, and in the end, only seven players survived the day to see the action continue tomorrow. Play will resume at noon local time on Dec. 12, and they will play to a champion. Everyone who is returning tomorrow has cashed for a minimum of $2,200, but they will all have their eyes on the $10,560 first-place prize and the trophy.

Danielle Andersen (2,760,000) leads the seven players into the final day and is one of three women continuing on to tomorrow. The other players returning for Day 2 are Raminder Singh (1,765,000), Brian Frenzel (1,505,000), Ebony Kenney (895,000), Garry Gates (635,000), Christopher Christian (555,000), and Lisa Teebagy (340,000).

Some notables who fell short of a cash today include Brad Owen, Mike Matusow, David Williams, Koray Aldemir, Frank Kassela, ”Boston Rob” Mariano, Tyson Apostol, Michael Ian Black, and Beth Hall.

Armando Mesina was the unfortunate player to burst the bubble when he was eliminated in 14th place. Jamie Kerstetter and Johnnie Moreno both cashed, but neither could bag a stack for tomorrow’s streamed final table.

Day 2 starts at 12 p.m. local time on December 12 at the PokerGO Studio, and will be streamed on a delay. The tournament will restart with blinds at 30,000/60,000/60,000 with 24:30 on the clock. Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team continues to bring updates as they play down to a champion tomorrow in the inaugural 2021 RunGood All-Stars ProAm.

Johnnie Moreno Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,760)

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Johnnie Moreno
Johnnie Moreno

Johnnie Moreno jammed in his stack of about 550,000 from middle position and Raminder Singh called in the small blind.

Johnnie Moreno: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Raminder Singh: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The two were flipping and the {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop kept Singh ahead but gave Moreno a gutshot draw. The {a-Spades} turn left Moreno needing river assistance, but the {7-Clubs} completed the board to end the run of "Johnnie Vibes".

The seven remaining players are now bagging and tagging. A recap is to follow.

Andra Zachow shoved in her 425,000 stack from the cutoff and Brian Frenzel called in the big blind.

Andra Zachow: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Brian Frenzel: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The players were racing and Frenzel inched closer to winning the pot on the {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {2-Clubs} turn and {7-Diamonds} river provided no help to Zachow, and she was eliminated from the tournament,

Anthony Kellen got the rest of his stack in preflop against Ebony Kenney.

Anthony Kellen: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}
Ebony Kenney: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The {j-}{6-}{4-} flop kept Kellen ahead, but the {10-} turn gave Kenney additional outs. The {a-} spiked the river to give Kenney Broadway and send Kellen to the rail, as the remaining nine players now converge on the unofficial final table.

Ebony Kenney opened on the button, Lisa Teebagy called in the small blind, and James Heyman called in the big blind.

The {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked around. The {a-Spades} came on the turn and Teebagy checked. Heyman then bet 45,000, Kenney folded, and Teebagy called.

The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and after Teebagy checked, Heyman jammed. Teebagy tanked before eventually making the call.

Heyman showed {10-Spades}{9-Spades} which was no good against the {a-}{4-} of Teebagy, and Heyman headed out of the tournament.

Johnnie Moreno: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jamie Kerstetter: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Kerstetter was at risk and in rough shape. The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades} to send Kerstetter to the rail, as Moreno nears a million in chips.

Armando Mesina
Armando Mesina

Armando Mesina got the rest of his short stack in from the big blind against Lisa Teebagy in the small blind.

Armando Mesina: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Lisa Teebagy: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}

The {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop kept Teebagy ahead and changed nothing. The {4-Diamonds} turn gave Mesina one additional unlikely out if the case four were to come, but the dealer put down the {q-Diamonds} to complete the board and oust Mesina as the bubble boy, while the 13 remaining players are now in the money.

Brad Owen got his remaining 65,000 or so chips in preflop from the big blind against Anthony Kellen in the cutoff.

Brad Owen: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Anthony Kellen: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}

Kellen was in good shape and in even better shape as the case four came on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. The {q-Hearts} left Owen looking for a deuce, but the {a-Clubs} completed the board to send the popular vlogger to the rail.
