Pierce Rivers Moon in Huge Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Christopher Moon
Christopher Moon

After his double-up was denied earlier, Christopher Moon alerted PokerNews that he was all in again with the goods on a {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} turn.

He now had approximately 600,000 committed to the pot as he caught Shane Pierce with his hand in the cookie jar.

Christopher Moon: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}
Shane Pierce: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Moon again had a made straight, but Pierce was drawing to a higher straight with a gutshot to a king.

Sure enough, the dealer dropped the {k-Diamonds} on the river, to send Moon to the rail with a horrific bad beat.
