Figueroa Falls To Czinkota

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Zoltan Czinkota defended his big blind against a raise to 1,600 from Victor Figueroa in early position and both players took a flop.

The flop came out {5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Czinkota check-called a bet of 3,000 from Figueroa.

The turn {8-Hearts} saw Figueroa moved all-in for 21,700 and Czinkota called tabling his hand.

Victor Figueroa: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Zoltan Czinkota: {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

The river {6-Clubs} did not complete any of Figueroa's flush or straight draw outs and he walked away from the tournament area.

Defending Champ Knocks One Out

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Raminder Singh
Raminder Singh

With 16,400 in the middle preflop, a hand was developing between Mike Beasley in first position, Raminder Singh on the button and one player in the big blind.

The flop came out {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} and saw action check to Singh who bet 7,600 and was called by the big blind only.

The turn of {2-Hearts} was checked through to the {4-Diamonds} river that saw the big blind player move all-in for 8,300. Singh asked for a count before calling and the opponent shook his head declaring one pair as {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flipped over. Singh turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens which was good and the defending champ built to his stack.

It's Not Over For Levy

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

One player raised under the-gun to 1,500 and was called by Ronald Levy one seat over and another player in middle position. In the big blind another player moved all-in 12,400 and action folded back to Levy who called. The other player folded and the cards were turned over.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Ronald Levy: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The flop came out {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and the turn brought a {j-Diamonds} to give the opponent a pair of jacks. "It ain't over till it's over," responded Levy and sure enough, the river {9-Clubs} gave Levy a flush to knock out his opponent and climb to the top of chip counts.
