O'Dell Wins First Pot Back

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On the first hand back from the break, Guanyun Cheng opened to 130,000 on the button and Dakota O'Dell called in the small blind.

Action went heads up to a flop of {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and both players checked. O'Dell led out for 175,000 on the turn {k-Hearts} and Cheng called.

The river was the {q-Spades} and O'Dell gathered 420,000 more and threw it into the middle. Cheng snap-folded {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} face up.

Donald Nimneh

Action folded around to Donald Nimneh in the small blind and he raised to 150,000. Guanyun Cheng re-jammed for Nimneh's effective stack of around 1 million and Nimneh snap-called.

Nimneh: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Cheng: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Nimneh would be done in by an ace on the river against Cheng twice in short succession as the runout came {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, and he was eliminated in sixth place as a result. Nimneh takes home $15,901 for his performance.

Cheng Takes from O'Dell

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Guanyun Cheng opened on the button and received a call from Dakotah O'Dell in the big blind. Both players checked the flop {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the turn came {7-Hearts}. O'Dell bet 150,000 and Cheng calls.

The river came {10-Clubs} and O'Dell checked. Cheng made around a pot-sized bet of 600,000 and O'Dell thought for a while before matching it.

Cheng tabled {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a missed flush draw from the flop that backed into two pair. O'Dell sighed and sent his cards to the muck.

Nimneh Triples

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On the very hand after being down to just a handful of big blinds, Donald Nimneh got his stack of 300K into the middle preflop from the small blind, receiving action from Guanyun Cheng in the big blind as well as Dakotah O'Dell in the hijack.

Cheng and O'Dell checked to the river on {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, where Cheng check-folded to a bet of 325,000 from O'Dell.

O'Dell showed {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the nut flush, but it was bested by Nimneh's {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a full house and he now finds himself just shy of 1 million with plenty of gas in the tank once more.

Cheng Gets a Miraculous Double

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Guanyun Cheng opened to 110,000 under the gun and action folded around to Donald Nimneh, who three-bet to 450,000 in the big blind.

"All in," responded Cheng after about 10 seconds and Nimneh leaned back in his chair, visibly concerned with the raise.

"I'm not lying man. I'm not bullshitting. I have a very strong hand," said Nimneh. Just shy of three-and-a-half minutes went by and Nimneh announced a call.

Cheng: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Nimneh: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Nimneh had called with a dominating hand and remained ahead through the flop {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The turn {8-Clubs} gave Cheng a backdoor flush draw, and it completed on the river {a-Clubs}.

"Yes!" exclaimed Cheng, clapping his hands together forcefully one time and standing up from his seat after making the nut flush.

Stacks were counted and Cheng's was 3.05 million. After Nimneh paid him off, he was left with just 320,000

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Donald Nimneh opened in the hijack and action folded over to Kaleb Dunn, who defended his big blind.

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Dunn checked. Nimneh continuation-bet 105,000 and Dunn called, bringing the turn {9-Hearts}. Dunn checked again and Nimneh fired a second barrel of 250,000.

"Good hand," said Dunn after about a minute in the tank. He let his hand go and Nimneh took down the pot.

Palacios: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Cheng: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Palacios stayed ahead through the flop {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} but picked up four extra outs to sweat on the turn {3-Diamonds}. The river {2-Diamonds} filled up Cheng's backdoor wheel draw, and Palacios was sent to the payout desk in seventh place as a result.

Kyle Back Over a Milly

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Eric Kyle raised it up to 110,000 on the button and received a call from Donald Nimneh, defending his big blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Nimneh checked to Kyle, who continuation-bet 70,000. Nimneh called.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and Nimneh checked again. Kyle bet another 200,000 and Nimneh quickly folded.

"Show me the bluff," pleaded Nimneh. Kyle flashed {9-Diamonds} and alleged he had nine high, which he later amended to having pocket nines.
