There was a pile of chips in the middle on a board reading 
with heads-up action between Daniel Thomas in the big blind and an opponent in early position.
Thomas bet 15,000 and his opponent jammed for a little more than a qualifying raise. Thomas called.
"Do you have the flush?" asked Thomas's opponent as he turned over 
. Unfortunately for the player, he wound up being in even worse shape than if he were up against a flush as Thomas turned over 
for a turned set of nines. The case four did not come on the river 
and Thomas collected the pot and the knockout, bringing him over a quarter-million in the process and making him the chip leader in the field with less than 90 players now remaining.
