Johnson Gets a Dub

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Henry Johnson open-jammed for 17,900 under the gun and was called by Nick Barksdale in middle position. All remaining players folded.

"I was just feeling spicy, you know?" said Barksdale. Johnson tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

"Oh, you're way behind!" joked Barksdale, tabling {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

"It's suited? Oh yeah, you're good," chimed in tablemate and RunGood Ambassador Blair Hinkle.

It was then time for the jokes to end, and the flop {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} meant business for Johnson.

"You are not behind," confirmed Barksdale as the dealer wasted no time bringing the turn {k-Hearts} and river {9-Spades} to complete the runout and earn Johnson the double.

Dykhouse Sends One to the Rail

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

A short-stacked player got all in preflop on the button against Dan Dykhouse, who was in the hijack.

All-In Player: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Dykhouse: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} gave Dykhouse a flush draw that completed on the turn {j-Diamonds}, which also gave the all-in player a set and kept him alive for the moment. That moment ended as the river fell {6-Clubs}, leaving Dykhouse's flush best and earning him the pot and the knockout.

Six tables now remain in play with 57 players left in the tournament.

Sixty-Four Remain

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Just a few minutes remain in Level 11 and the tournament clock displays 64 players remaining. Unless 24 more players are eliminated next level, the tournament will continue into Level 13, and until 40 players are left.

Hildebrand Check-Shoves on Prevost

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Kerry Hildebrand
Kerry Hildebrand

Kerry Hildebrand raised to 4,500 under the gun and was three-bet to 11,000 by Clarence Prevost, who was in middle position. Action folded back to Hildebrand and she called.

The flop was {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Hildebrand checked. Prevost made a continuation-bet of 12,000 and Hildebrand check-jammed for around 42,000.

Hildebrand went deep into the tank, taking around two minutes before relinquishing his hand.

Licking Gets Aces at the Right Time

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Russell Licking
Russell Licking

The cutoff opened to 6,500 and Russell Licking re-jammed for 33,300 in the small blind. His opponent snap-called.

Licking: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Cutoff: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Licking saw a relatively uneventful runout of {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} come onto the felt and he shipped the double.

Darland Delivers a Dusting

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Action folded around to the hijack, who open-jammed for 10,600. Jason Darland called in the big blind.

All-In Player: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Darland: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The flop {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} gave Darland aces up, but his opponent had plenty of outs to pull back ahead between clubs, eights, and sevens. The turn {q-Spades} added three more outs to that tally, but the river {3-Hearts} gave Darland a full house and eliminated his short-stacked opponent from the tournament.

Updated Counts from the Other Half of the Room

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Less than 100 players now remain as only 10 tables remain in play. RunGood Ambassador Blair Hinkle has seen a nice increase to his stack, having more than quadrupled his stack since the last time he was seen. However, Isidro Sandoval appears to be the player atop the counts with a stack north of 200K.
