Flight 1b Of The RunGood Main Event Begins At 11 a.m., Flight 1c Begins At 6 p.m.

The second of three starting flights will begin today at 11 a.m. of The Run Good Poker Series $600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at Downstream Casino In Joplin, Missouri. Players will have their second shot to get a piece of the $100,000 guaranteed prizepool as well as a seat to the Pro/Am tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Last night’s flight saw 235 players take their seats with 29 making it to Day 2, topping the 2020 Day 1a numbers by more than double. It was Jesse Jones who bagged an impressive 568,000 for the chip lead going into Day 2 and every player will be looking to top his large stack.

Players who were unable to find success in yesterday’s Day 1a, but who look to make deep runs in this flight include Duster Ellis, WSOP Bracelet Winner Mike Cordell, Edward Welch, and Survivor winner Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, and other players expected to make an appearance include WSOP Ring Winner Daniel Lowery and former RGPS Joplin Champion Grant Hinkle.

Players will start with 25,000 in chips with the blinds starting at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Blinds will escalate every 30 minutes with a 10-minute break after every four levels. Late registration will end at the start of level 9 and players who do not find a bag in this flight will be able to play tonight in Day 1c starting at 6 P.M. tonight. Play will continue until 12.5% of the field is reached and those players will return on Sunday May 22nd at 11 A.M. to play down to the winner.
