After 8 hours of play and 235 entrants, the final 29 players have bagged up for the evening in Day 1a of RunGood Poker $600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at Downstream Casino In Joplin, Missouri.

Leading the way was Jesse Jones, who ended the night bagging 583,000. Jones began the day rather quietly, but as the night went on he found himself on the right end of several big pots. During the bubble he applied maximum pressure against his opponents with many finding folds. Jones holds $413,449 in lifetime earnings and will be looking to add not only some more to that total, but a first RGPS title.

Also finding healthy bags throughout the night were Stacy Bush with 508,000 and Derrick Young with 498,500. Of the 29 players that made Day 2, some other names included Ross Bybee (461,500), David Caron (139,500), Kaleb Dunn (126,000), Mary Bybee (105,500) and Shane Fuller (72,000). This batch of players found their fortunes shine while players like Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, Duster Ellis, Michael Sanders, and WSOP bracelet winner Mike Cordell saw their fortunes turn sour as they were unable to find a bag this flight,

Those who were unable to find a bag today will have another opportunity in two flights on Saturday to bag and return on Sunday to get a piece of the $100,000 guaranteed prizepool.
