Deeno Hits 100k

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with 5,800 in the center between four players including Ken Yang in the big blind, Brandon "Deeno" Johnson in the cutoff, one player in the small blind and another on the button.

On the flop of {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, action checked to Yang who bet 1,200 which was called by both Johnson and the button. The small blind then raised to 6,000 which Yang decided to call. Johnson then moved all in for 56,300 and both the button and the small blind folded. Yang pondered his decision, but decided to call saying "I hope you have a flush draw."

Ken Yang: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Brandon "Deeno" Johnson: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Yang was unable to hit his outs to survive and Johnson, fresh off of his runner-up finish in the Studio Ring event, took down a massive pot to send him towards the top of the leaderboard.

Joyner Rivers A Flush

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up three ways on the turn between a player in the small blind, Will Joyner in early position, and Bart Bogard on the button.

On a board reading {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, the small blind checked to Joyner who bet 3,000, getting a call from Bogard. The small blind clicked it back to 6,000 which both players called.

The river came out an {a-Clubs}, and the small blind bet once more, to the same tune of 6,000, and Joyner moved all in for 12,200, folding out Bogard. The small blind shook his head while calling and Joyner turned over {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered flush. The small blind nodded and turned over {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and tossed it into the muck, giving Joyner the pot.
