"You Sat Down Too Soon!"

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Brian Durr
Brian Durr

All of the chips got into the middle on a flop of {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} with Brian Durr at risk for 115,000 plus what was already in the pot. Durr was in middle position and was up against Edward Fisher, who was under the gun.

Durr: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Fisher: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Durr stood up to sweat his 11 outs, one of which came on the turn {a-Hearts}. He then began to sit down, but the river {q-Hearts} fell behind to give Fisher a full house and eliminate Durr.

"You sat down too soon!" said tablemate Teresa Lammie-Anders.

Stahl Lands on the Right Side of the Coin

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

John McNeil limped in from early position and action folded around to Brock McCoy on the button, who also limped. Brent Bogdanovecz completed his small blind and then Matt Stahl announced he was all in.

"Call," said McNeil immediately thereafter, and the other two players folded.

Stahl: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
McNeil: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Stahl's jacks remained best on a runout of {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, making a full house to score the double and leave McNeil with just five big blinds.

Curtsinger: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Lowe: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Curtsinger was unable to win the coin flip, ultimately being left dead after the turn as the runout came {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to bring about his elimination from the tournament.

Bogdanovecz Busted In Brutal Fashion

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action folded to Brock McCoy on the button and he opened, with Brent Bogdanovecz re-jamming in the small blind. McCoy called.

Bogdanovecz: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
McCoy: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} gave Bogdanovecz one of the two outs he would need to double, but he wasn't out of the woods yet as the turn {j-Spades} added two more counterfeit outs to the total he needed to sweat. The river then fell {q-Hearts} behind, causing the table to erupt as yet another all-in hand concluded with McCoy re-improving to queens full.

Bogdanovecz's stack was counted to be 181,000, just shy of McCoy's 199,000, and he was eliminated from the tournament as a result.

Smith Wins Two Big All Ins

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Hand #1: Danny Smith was just seen collecting a full double with his winning hand of {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} displayed on a board of {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Smith was in the big blind and re-jammed for a little over 10 big blinds over an open from JW Carter in the cutoff. Carter called with {a-}{j-}-offsuit and his top pair was bested by Smith's top two pair.

Hand #2: Two hands Later, Smith raised on the button and Shannon Hamblen announced he was all in for 138,000 in the big blind. Smith called before Hamblen could finish sliding his own stack forward.

Hamblen: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Smith: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The runout came {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}, with Hamblen reaching over to his tablemate and extending a fist to pound as the turn left him drawing dead. Meanwhile, Smith doubled and then scored a knockout within a three-hand period and is now over 600K with 37 players remaining.

More Fireworks from Table 22

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The same table that has numerous cooler-level all ins during the last hour just erupted from yet another pot in which stacks got into the middle.

Jon Swift opened under the gun and action folded around to the big blind, where Matt Stahl defended to bring a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Stahl checked, Swift continuation-bet, Stahl check-raised, and Swift three-bet jammed. Stahl called and hands were tabled with over 750K in the middle.

Stahl: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Swift: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Stahl's bottom set was up against Swift's top two pair and needed to fade the board pairing. The turn {9-Spades} was safe, but the river {j-Diamonds} improved Swift to the nut boat and scored him the pot and the knockout.
