Karn Adds To His Stack

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was heads up between Papa Karn in the big blind and an opponent in the cutoff, with Karn firing 8,600 on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} and receiving a call. Karn fired again on the turn {6-Clubs} for 10,000 and his opponent called once more.

The river fell {q-Spades} and Karn postured for a bit, eventually stacking up 43,000 and sending toppling over onto the felt. His opponent thought for a while and let his hand go.

"I guess your ace-king is good," said the player. Karn shook his head no, implying he did not have ace-king, and stacked his newly earned chips to bring him up to

Stanford Over 300K

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After being the largest stack in the room throughout the majority of the evening, Cody Stanford was just seen having built that stack to over 300K and confirmed the details of his recent addition.

According to Stanford, he opened with {k-}{k-} and saw RunGood Ambassador Julie Cornelius re-jam with {10-}{10-}. Cornelius was drawing dead by the turn of a runout {8-}{3-}{2-}{k-}{7-}, and Stanford has increased his chip lead with well under an hour of play remaining in the night.

McEwen Showers One With Queens

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Preston McEwen
Preston McEwen

All of the chips went into the middle preflop with an under-the-gun player at risk for his last 21,500 against RunGood Ambassador Preston McEwen.

All-In Player: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
McEwen: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

McEwen got a dream flop of {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, hitting top set against top two pair and leaving his opponent in need of perfect running cards to quads to stay alive. The turn {5-Spades} made the improbable impossible, with the river {7-Hearts} falling behind to complete the runout and bring McEwen above 80K with the pot and the knockout.

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Lott: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Lieberman: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Lott was unable to overcome a king on the flop of a runout {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was bounced from the tournament as a result. Meanwhile, Lieberman has over 100K

Wooten Eliminated; Morris More Than Doubles in Three-Way All-In

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Tabitha Wooten
Tabitha Wooten

At the end of the previous level, Kyle Morris open-limped under the gun and Preston McEwen raised to 6,700 in the hijack. Tabitha Wooten was down to her last 3,200 and called all in from the small blind before the big blind called McEwen's full 6,700.

Morris then limp-jammed for 28,100 and McEwen announced he was all in as well, sending the big blind out of the hand as the other three tabled their cards in preparation for the runout.

Wooten: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
McEwen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Morris: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Morris was ahead with two fives and stayed there through the runout {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades} to scoop both pots for more than a double.
