Event #3: $185 RunGood DeepStack took center stage inside Horseshoe Tunica on Wednesday, drawing a massive 452 entries over the two flights the day offered. After those two flights finished, 62 players remained and advanced to Thursday's Day 2.
Sixteen of those players fell short of cashing, as the top 46 players made it into the money. RunGood Ambassadors Daniel Lowery (32nd - $334) and Julie Cornelius (29th - $378) were among those who accomplished that feat, only to fall short of the final table, and were also joined by Papa Karn (21st - $591), who cashed for his second time in the first three tournaments of the series.
However, it ultimately came down to heads-up play between Kenneth Nicoletti and Saeed Nia, and the two chopped up the remaining prize money to take home $12,238 apiece with Nicoletti claiming the first-place title and accompanying hardware.

A player in early position raised to 2,600 and received calls behind from JW Carter in the hijack and Cody Stanford on the button. The big blind also defended, taking action four ways to the streets.
The flop dropped and the big blind checked, as did the original raiser. Carter bet 5,500 and saw Stanford fold, the big blind call, and the original raiser fold.
Action continued heads up to the turn , and both players checked to bring the river on board. The big blind bet 7,000 and Carter wasted no time calling.
The big blind showed for two pair, nines and deuces, and it was bested by the of Carter, whose jacks up was good for the pot.

At the end of the previous level, Kyle Morris open-limped under the gun and Preston McEwen raised to 6,700 in the hijack. Tabitha Wooten was down to her last 3,200 and called all in from the small blind before the big blind called McEwen's full 6,700.
Morris then limp-jammed for 28,100 and McEwen announced he was all in as well, sending the big blind out of the hand as the other three tabled their cards in preparation for the runout.

Morris was ahead with two fives and stayed there through the runout to scoop both pots for more than a double.
