Six To Flop; No Showdown Required

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

In a six-way limped pot preflop, the dealer fanned a flop of {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Under the gun bet 500 after the blinds checked to him, and he received two calls behind from Gregory Graham in the hijack and Chad Marsh, who was on the button.

The remaining three went to the turn {4-Clubs} and the under-the-gun player bet again for 1,000. Graham pumped it up to 3,000 and Marsh folded. Under the gun then called.

The river came {2-Clubs} and under the gun checked. Graham bet another 3,000 and his opponent thought for around half a minute before letting his hand go, earning Graham the pot without needing to see a showdown.

Thurman Wins at Showdown

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

There looked to be just shy of 5,000 in the middle on a board reading {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} with heads-up action between the hijack and Dennis Thurman, who was in the cutoff.

The hijack check-called a bet of 1,500 from Thurman and the river came {k-Spades}, prompting both players' fists to connect with the felt.

"Do you have me?" asked Thurman's opponent, and Thurman showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, which proved to be good for the pot.

Ace Is Good for Tittle

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Six players went to a flop of {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and five players checked before the player on the button bet 2,300. Only Jacob Tittle called, doing so from early position.

Action then went heads up to the turn {a-Diamonds} and Tittle checked again. His opponent fired another 6,500 and Tittle called, bringing the river {2-Spades} where both players checked to take the hand to showdown.

"I've got an ace," said Tittle as he showed {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

"An ace is good," his opponent responded, sending his cards to the muck after seeing Tittle's holdings.

Kerry Hildebrand Back In Action After RGPS All Stars Pro-Am Showing

Back in July 2020, Kerry Hildebrand won the RGPS All Stars Online Freeroll on Faded Spade Poker Club, where the top prize was a seat into the RGPS All Stars Pro-Am Event, which would ultimately not be held until December 2021.

At that tournament, Hildebrand was ultimately eliminated in a three-way all in against RunGood Ambassador "Boston" Rob Mariano and eventual runner-up Danielle Andersen. Also recently, Hildebrand took eighth place in last fall's $420 RGPS Golden Ticket Main Event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, earning her a career-best live score of $4,558.

We'll be sure to keep an eye on Hildebrand as she makes her way through the afternoon. The tournament clock has 162 entries already accounted for, and that number will continue to grow as late registration remains open until the beginning of Level 9.

"That's Not What I Expected To See!!"

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
Rose Cooney
Rose Cooney

The flop read {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Rose Cooney, in the cutoff, was in the process of calling a bet of 500 from the small blind. Action proceeded heads up to the turn {2-Diamonds} and Cooney called another 1,200.

The river fell {a-Clubs} and the small blind checked. Cooney bet 1,500 and her opponent called. Cooney showed {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for flopped trips and her opponent mucked.

"That's not what I expected to see!" said another player at the table, and the pot was shipped Cooney's way.
