"That Was Just Hurtful, Dylan!"

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alexandra Loveless
Alexandra Loveless

Alexandra Loveless opened to 3,500 in early position and received a call in middle position. Dylan Lemery looked down at his holdings from the small blind and slid forward a stack of T-5,000 chips that was effectively around a 40K re-jam.

Loveless thought for a few moments and then released her hand, with the middle-position player doing the same shortly thereafter to earn Lemery the pot.

"That was just hurtful, Dylan!" said Loveless from across the table. "I thought we were friends!"

"We can still be friends!" responded Lemery.

Schaefer Adds To His Stack Via Elimination

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Under the gun open-jammed for 2,200 and action folded to the hijack, who called. All four remaining players called behind as well, one of whom was Brandon Schaefer in the cutoff.

Everybody checked through the runout {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, where only three of the six hands wound up being tabled.

All-In Player: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Player on the button: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Schaefer: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Schaefer completed his flush draw on the river and took down the pot, adding more than 10K to his stack in an unconventional fashion while sending a short stack home in the process.

Cupp Makes the Nuts

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Players in middle position and the cutoff limped before Kevin Cupp raised to 2,100 on the button. The big blind called and both limpers did as well, bringing four to a flop of {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Action checked to Cupp and he continuation-bet 3,100, receiving just a call from the cutoff.

The turn came {j-Clubs} and the cutoff checked again. Cupp bet another 5,100 and his opponent called, bringing the river {q-Spades}. The cutoff opted to lead, jamming for around 30,000, and received a snap-call from Cupp.

All-In Player: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Cupp: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

The all-in player had hit his flush on the river but ran it into the Cupp's nuts and was eliminated as a result. Cupp now sits with just shy of 150K after taking down the pot.
