"That Was Just Hurtful, Dylan!"

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alexandra Loveless
Alexandra Loveless

Alexandra Loveless opened to 3,500 in early position and received a call in middle position. Dylan Lemery looked down at his holdings from the small blind and slid forward a stack of T-5,000 chips that was effectively around a 40K re-jam.

Loveless thought for a few moments and then released her hand, with the middle-position player doing the same shortly thereafter to earn Lemery the pot.

"That was just hurtful, Dylan!" said Loveless from across the table. "I thought we were friends!"

"We can still be friends!" responded Lemery.

Kincade Gets A Turn Jam Through

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

As time expired in the previous level, Calvin Kincade opened to 2,800 in middle position and received calls from the hijack, player on the button, and big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades} and the big blind checked, as did Kincade and the cutoff. The player on the button then bet 4,900 and the big blind called, with Kincade check-raising to 16,000 thereafter. The cutoff and player on the button folded, and then the big blind called.

Action was then heads up to the turn {7-Hearts}, where the big blind checked once more. Kincade went all in for his last 34,100 and his final opponent went into the tank for nearly two minutes before letting his hand go.

Hildebrand Stays Alive

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Kerry Hildebrand was down to her last 5,600 and re-jammed from middle position over an early-position open. Kevin Cupp called in the small blind and the original raiser called as well.

Both remaining players checked {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Cupp bet 2,000 on {4-Clubs}, getting a quick fold.

Hildebrand: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Cupp: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Hildebrand was one card away from a triple, but the case ace {a-Hearts} boated up both players to chop the pot. Nonetheless, she still nearly doubled, given her share of the blinds and antes in addition to the third player's contribution to the pot.

Zhu Sends One Home

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded around to the hijack, who was down to his last 12,200 and committed it to the pot. Hao Zhu called in the big blind.

All-In Player: {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Zhu: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Zhu's ace remained best to score him the pot and the knockout.

Wood Triples; Lemery Knocks Out the Middle Stack

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Eric Wood open-jammed for 20,000 and received a call from Dylan Lemery in the hijack. The cutoff then re-jammed for 66,000, sending Lemery into the tank.

"I call," said Lemery after a bit. "I don't want to, though."

Wood: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Cutoff: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Lemery: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Lemery picked up a shot at a double-knockout on {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}, but nothing else changed as {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} completed the runout. Wood tripled as a result, while Lemery won the larger side pot and knocked out a player to go along with it.
