Raymer Doubles Up
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Greg Raymer moved all in preflop for around 65,000 and John Lammle made the call to put him at risk.
Greg Raymer: A♦Q♥
John Lammle: A♣K♣
Although Lammle had Raymer crushed with his superior holding, the flop of 4♠Q♣A♥ gave his opponent the lead with two pair. The turn 10♠ gave Lammle a few more outs as he picked up a gutshot straight draw but the A♠ on the river did not get it done as it further improved Raymer to a full house to award him the double-up.
