Matthew Kramer
Matthew Kramer

Matthew Kramer moved all in preflop for his last 700,000 and was called by Timothy Niles after the rest of the table folded.

Matthew Kramer: 88
Timothy Niles: QJ

Although Kramer was in the lead to start, the runout of 4A6QK gave Niles a pair of queens on the turn and Kramer was eliminated in 15th place.

Misclick from Salameh; Still Wins Pot

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 108A, there was already around 400,000 in the middle when Wilson Chan led out for 100,000.

Yousef Salameh then set out to raise to 500,000, but the stack of chips he placed was a dirty stack and the bottom chip was actually a 5,000 chip instead of a red 100,000 chip like the rest.

The bet was then confirmed as 405,000 after a little confusion but it didn't seem to matter as Chan made the fold anyways.

Double Bustout for Barrera

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Tony Barrera
Tony Barrera

On a multi-way flop of A69, Donald Helmig led out for 300,000 from under-the-gun but then Tony Barrera moved all in from the button to cover. Ralph Smith moved all in behind for less and Helmig put the rest of his chips in there as well and all the cards were tabled.

Ralph Smith: 94
Donald Helmig: K3
Tony Barrera: AQ

Barrera was in the lead with his pair of aces, but still needed to fade a lot of cards to keep it that way. The turn A improved him to trip aces to take Smith out of the equation, and the river 5 was a brick for him to scoop the entire pot, eliminating both opponents.

High-IQ Plays Only

Level 24 : 30,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a completed board of 42387, Charlen Aseberos led out for 120,000 but was then raised to 350,000 by his heads-up opponent, Donald Helmig.

Aseberos thought about it for a few seconds before tossing out the call and was shown 34 by Helmig for just a pair of threes. Crazily enough, a pair of threes was good as Aseberos flashed K2 for an inferior pair of deuces before he sent it into the muck and Helmig was awarded the pot.

An Outkicked by Niles

Level 24 : 30,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of 494A8, there was already 500,000 in the pot when Timothy Niles led out for 200,000.

The action was then on Anthony An who went into the tank to review his options.

After 30 seconds or so, he made the call but was shown AJ for aces and fours, jack kicker by Niles. An checked his hand one more time and tossed it into the muck, admitting that he was outkicked as the pot was pushed over to Niles.
