Aces Hold for Kramer
Level 22
: 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
On a heads-up flop of 8♦3♦J♠, there was already 400,000 in the bloated pot when Asmare Bekalu and Matthew Kramer got it all in for heaps, with Kramer at risk.
Matthew Kramer: A♦A♥
Asmare Bekalu: K♦Q♦
Kramer was ahead with his pocket aces, but Bekalu was very much alive with his flush draw.
The board bricked out with the 7♣5♣ runout and Kramer's aces held to scoop the massive pot to boost him over 2,000,000 while Bekalu was left on life support.
