With a pot having been built, Lewis bet 14,000 from the big blind on a board reading 6♣5♠3♥8♦ and Spriggs called.

Lewis checked the K♥ river that saw Spriggs bet 40,000. Lewis looked at Spriggs briefly before putting in her chips to call.

Spriggs shook his head and turned over A♥7♥ for just ace-high. Lewis turned over 2♥5♣ for a pair of fives and the chip leader continued to add to her stack.

Walden Spikes The River Against Hinkle

Bryan Walden raised to 6,500 in the hijack and was called by Ashley "PokerFaceAsh" Frank on the button and Grant Hinkle in the big blind.

The flop came out 5♠2♥4♠ and action checked to Walden who bet 13,000 which Frank called. Hinkle raised to 40,000 which saw Walden move all in for 119,500 which only Hinkle called.

The turn of A♦ changed nothing but the river 9♠ gave Walden a flush to best Hinkle's set of fives and Walden rose to one of the highest stacks in the tournament. Hinkle was left with less than 2 big blinds.

The RunGood Poker Series Checkpoint held its first open event of the series with the $200 Guest Ambassadors Bounty NLH, which saw a total of 223 entrants create a prize pool of $33,450.

Players were given opportunities to knock out certain players for random bounties that contained an assortment of prizes that ranged from $50 of RunGood Store credit, to $500 in cash. Players like Grant Hinkle, Ashley “PokerFaceAsh” Frank, Preston McEwen, Ross Bybee, and Daniel Lowery were among the players listed as bounties.

A total of 27 players secured themselves a payout, with William Hill winning the tournament for $8,315 after beating RGPS ring winner Joey Gargiulo heads up. This cash marks Hill’s second hendon mob for his first recorded victory and biggest lifetime score.
