Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Craig Dick, Blair Hinkle

After an open to 6,000 from Melissa King and a call from the button, Blair Hinkle moved all in from the big blind for around 32,000.

King made the call to put him at risk and the button payer thought about it for a few seconds but ultimately decided to let it go as King and Hinkle tabled their hands.

Blair Hinkle: 1010
Melissa King: AJ

Lucky for Hinkle, the board ran out 77349 for his pocket tens to hold and he was awarded the pot for a successful double-up.

Munoz Shoves Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Rosmel Munoz
Rosmel Munoz

After calling a bet of 3,500 from Jacob Francis on a flop of [4d8d65c], Rosmel Munoz moved all in for 7,900 when the turn came the 5.

Francis thought about it for a few moments as he counted out the proper chips and eventually made the call to put Muoz at risk.

Francis tabled Q8 for top pair but it was no good once Munoz flipped over 67 for a turned straight. Only a seven would save Francis with a chop, but the 2s] on the river didn't do it and Muoz was pushed the pot for a full double-up.

"IN THESE SHORTS!"

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Ted Forshey
Ted Forshey

After checking through the turn A9J, Michael Adams decided to lead out for 7,600 when the river fell the 10, and the action then switched over to Ted Forshey.

Forshey thought for a few seconds and then tossed out a stack of 30,000, covering Adams.

Adams then went deep into the tank as he considered pitting the rest of his stack at risk, and after a solid minute, he checked them one last time before angrily slapping them down into the muck.

"I had a set..." Forshey admitted to him as the dealer prepared to push the pot.

"IN THESE SHORTS!" He proclaimed as he flipped 34 for a four-high bluff while he raked in the chips.

The RunGood Poker Series is back bigger and better than ever in its return to the Harrah’s property here in Kansas City. After a six-month hiatus, this long-awaited arrival of the GPI's Mid-Major Tournament Series of the Year has already resulted in record turnouts for this location. Back in May, it was Andre Allen, a Kansas City-based entrepreneur who took home $86,550!

The $1,100 buy-in Main Event is guaranteed a $200,000 prize pool but its expectations are to completely smash that figure.
The first of three starting flights is set to begin today at 5 p.m. local time and will play until 12.5% of the field remains to bag up and return on Sunday for Day 2.
Players will start with 30,000 in chips and levels will be 30 minutes long starting at blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante.
There are unlimited re-buys for this event and registration will be open until the start of Level 9 where the length will then switch to 40 minutes per level. There will also be a 10-minute break approximately every 2 hours (every four levels until Level 9 and every three afterward).

The PokerNews reporting team will be on-site providing all of the updates in the RGPS Main Event until a winner is crowned on Sunday, so stay tuned!
