Davis Defeats Dick to Double

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Craig Dick opened to 5,000 preflop and was called only by Marquez Davis in late position to see the flop of J53.

Dick then continued for another 5,000 and Davis responded by moving all in for 7,900 total. Dick quickly made the call and Davis flipped over 88 for a pair of eights.

"Well, this is funny," Dick chuckled to himself as he flipped over 77 for an inferior pair.

The board ran out 99 for Davis' eights to hold and the pot was pushed his way for the double-up.

Craig Dick, Blair Hinkle

After an open to 6,000 from Melissa King and a call from the button, Blair Hinkle moved all in from the big blind for around 32,000.

King made the call to put him at risk and the button payer thought about it for a few seconds but ultimately decided to let it go as King and Hinkle tabled their hands.

Blair Hinkle: 1010
Melissa King: AJ

Lucky for Hinkle, the board ran out 77349 for his pocket tens to hold and he was awarded the pot for a successful double-up.

Pigago Felt it Coming

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After a preflop chip battle, Daniel Pigago moved all in for around 35,000 and Beau Wilshire made the call to put him at risk.

Daniel Pigago: AK
Beau Wilshire: K10

"Ehh, I dunno, I'm not really feeling this one," Pigago told tablemate Blair Hinkle.

The flop came out 729 and the turn was safe with the 3, but the river was the dagger when it fell the 10 to send him to the rail.
