On a heads-up flop of 9♦Q♣J♥, RunGood Ambassador Jules Cornelius bet out 3,300 after action was checked to her. Grant Illig made the call and the two went to the turn 4♠.
Illig checked once more to Cornelius, who then fired for 10,000- which almost covered Illig.
After some pause, he eventually slid his cards into the muck and the pot was awarded to Cornelius.

On a heads-up flop of 4♥Q♥8♦, Ron Walker led out for 3,000 and was called by his opponent, Brian Jones.
The turn came out the 9♠ and saw both players check and they went straight to the river 6♠.
Walker then decided to lead out again for 6,000 but then Jones raised him to 18,000.
After thinking about it for a few seconds, Walker tossed his cards into the muck and the pot was awarded to Jones.

Jason Hisey in late position made it 7,000 to go preflop and was called by Wiliam McCracken in the cutoff and the button came along as well.
The flop came out 5♦J♠A♦ and Hisey continued for 4,500 which McCracken called while the button player got out of the way.
On the turn 2♥, Hisey checked over to McCracken who then moved all in for around 20,000- which sent Hisey into the tank.
After a good thirty seconds in thought, Hisey decided to lay it down an the pot was pushed to McCracken.

With one starting day down and two more to go, the RGPS Kansas City $1,100 Main Event is primed for an even larger field than yesterday. Dakotah O'Dell and his chip lead of 614,000 will be the bag to beat as players battle it out throughout the day.
As Grant Hinkle bagged in Flight 1A, the remaining Rungood Ambassador team of Blair Hinkle, Preston McEwen, Julie Cornelius, and Kris Burchfield will all be playing in today's flights.
The second of three starting flights is set to begin today at 11 a.m. local time with the third and final flight to begin at 5 p.m. As with the first flight, play will resume until 12.5% of the field remains, at which point the players will bag up to return tomorrow for Day 2.
Players will start with 30,000 in chips and levels will be 30 minutes long starting at blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante.
There are unlimited reentries for this event and registration will be open until the start of Level 9 where the length will then switch to 40 minutes per level. There will also be a short 10-15 minute break approximately every 2 hours (every four levels until Level 9; every three afterward).
