Brooks Calls For Big Pot
Level 12
: 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
The flop read 6♦Q♣3♣. Terrence Borrall was in the small blind and led for 16,000 and Harley Brooks called form the big blind.
The turn was the 2♣. Borrall checked, Brooks bet 23,000 and Borrall called.
The river came the 8♥. Borrall led-jammed. "What the ****?" said Brooks to himself, confused by the line that Borrall had taken. But he called after just a few seconds.
Brooks tabled the 10♣4♣ for the flush. Borrall said "Oh shoot he's got it" and tossed over his beaten Qx9x and headed out the door.
