Chilton Outkicks His Opponent
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Michael Chilton raised to 1,500 in late position and a player on his direct left called while Grant Hinkle called in the cutoff.
The flop came out 2♥8♦9♦ and Chilton continued for 2,000 while the player in the hijack moved all in. Hinkle folded and Chilton called to put himself at risk for his final 12,500.
Michael Chilton: A♦8♣
Opponent: Q♠8♠
The board ran out 3♦4♥ and the pair of eights with the ace kicker was good for Chilton to take one.
