Swift Triples; Goings Scoops McEwen

Preston McEwen raised to 6,000 in late position and Jon Swift moved all in from the cutoff for 13,000. On the button Nick Goings moved all in for 110,000 and McEwen went into the tank. After some thought he called to put both players at risk.

The board ran out 8♠9♥2♥9♠3♣ and the ace-eight found a pair of eights on the flop and held against both of his opponents' hands. Goings scooped a massive pot from McEwen and a few hands later e was eliminated from the tournament.
