Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Nick Barksdale
Nick Barksdale

After losing several flips in a row, Nick Barksdale moved all in preflop for around 450,000 and was called by Stephen Moy to put him at risk.

Nick Barksdale : AJ All in
Stephen Moy : K6

Barksdale was in good shape with his ace high against the king-high of Moy, but the flop had other plans as it came 696 to give Moy a huge lead with trip sixes. The runout of 83 changed nothing and the Day 1 chip leader was eliminated in 15th place.

Bacome Doubles Twice through Barksdale

Level 22 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Adam Bacome
Adam Bacome

After an open to 90,000 from Nick Barksdale, Adam Bacome moved all in for 305,000 and Barksdale quickly called to put him at risk.

Adam Bacome: A10 All in
Nick Barksdale : KQ

Bacome was already in the lead with his ace-high, but the flop of A74 made him feel a lot mor comfortable as he made top pair. The runout of 5Q changed nothing and he was awarded the pot for the double.

The very next hand, the flop read 234 when Bacome moved all in once more after a bet from Barksdale, who again called to put him at risk.

Adam Bacome : 9h9d]
Nick Barksdale : K5

Bacome was again ahead with his overpair, but Barksdale held an open-ended straight draw. The turn 9 both improved Bacome to top set and gave Barksdale a flush draw. Luckily for Bacome, the river was the 2 tp give him a full house and he was shipped the pot for yet another double through Barksdale.

Gibbs Scoops Big One; Dean Exits

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Dean moved all in preflop for 230,000 and then Donald Nimneh raised the price to 450,000m but then Jon Gibbs moved all in for 1,160,000.

Nimneh then went into the tank, shaking his head as he counted out his chips.

"Ugh, I should have just called or moved all in," he said out loud, and after a few more moments he tossed in his cards.

Thomas Dean : A10 All in
Jon Gibbs: AK

"I knew I was behind but I feel a ten coming!" Dean shouted, but the board of 8334Q did not save him and he was sent to the rail.
