Barksdale Calls with a Diamond

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

In a heads-up pot between Nick Barksdale and Donald Nimneh, there is close to 550,000 in the middle with a board that read 1036Q9 when Nimneh bet 275,000.

Barksdale went into the tank for a good while, pondering this decision, as he and Nimneh had a lot of history in pots.

"Ugh... Nice hand," Barksdale sighed as he tossed out the calling chips.

"I don't have a diamond," Nimneh shook his head and tabled Q4 for a pair of queens, but Barksdale flipped over 89 for a rivered eight-high flush to take down the substantial pot, adding to his chip lead.

Hinkle's Aces Trump Howard's Sevens; Klumb KOs Sudan

After an open from Blair Hinkle to 25,000, Taylor Howard moved all in for 117,000. Robert Sudan made the call from the big blind and Hinkle also just called.

On the flop 8K5, Sudan led for 50,000 into the side pot and Hinkle thought for a few seconds before making the call.

The turn was the Q and Sudan decided to slow down and check, at which point Hinkle moved all in to cover him. Sutton quickly folded and the cards were tabled between Hinkle and Howard.

Taylor Howard: 77 All in
Blair Hinkle : AA

Howard could only catch a seven to stay alive, but the river 10 did not provide and he was sent to the payout desk.

Ironically, Sudan moved all in the very next hand with 77 and was called by Tyler Klumb with AJ. The runout of J4K52 paired Klumb's jack to earn him the pot while Sudan was eliminated.

Klumb Hits Top Set, Hinkle Gets a Tingle

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Blair Hinkle opened from early position to 25,000 but was then immediately three-bet to 55,000 by Tyler Klumb, causing the action to fold back to Hinkle.

After some pause, Hinkle just called to see the flop of 1094, which he checked.

Klumb then set out the same bet of 55,000 and Hinkle thought about it for a good while before he slid his cards to the dealer.

"Man, I should have checked, but I didn't want a club to come," Klum admitted as he showed 1010 for top set as he raked in the pot.
