The fourth and final starting flight of the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Joplin $600 Main Event reached its conclusion as 21 players found bags. Leading the way is the young Rachel Sawyer with a stack of 675,000, who will join the other flight's chip leaders — Brant Jolley (Day 1a - 741,000), Charles Deatherage (Day 1b - 723,000) and David Greufe (Day 1c - 680,000) — as they fight for a RunGood title.

The four starting flights attracted 620 runners to smash the $100,000 guarantee. Only 12.5% of the field advanced, meaning there are 75 players who will battle it out on Day 2 as several players double-bagged.

Action on Days 1c and 1d

Saturday had the most poker action of all so far as it featured two starting flights. Day 1c kicked off at noon and drew 225 runners, while Day 1d got underway at 5 p.m. and attracted a field of 168.

As such, there were ample highlights throughout the day, including Jared Swinger cracking aces full by hitting an elusive Royal Flush. Unfortunately for both players and the rest of the table, it didn't happen in a cash game where a juicy Bad Beat jackpot may have been involved.

There will be a new champion this year as last year's winner, Dakotah O'Dell, failed to advance after firing in multiple flights. But there are plenty of RunGood crushers yearning for a shot at the title, including Daniel Lowery and RGPS Player of the Year frontrunner Brian Winter.

Others who made it to Day 2 include Ashley Frank, Forrest Kollar, Mark Lafata, Derek Baxter, Sarah McCain and last year's runner-up Blair Hinkle.

Day 2 will commence on Sunday, April 14 at 1 p.m. local time and will play down to a winner, who will win the lion's share of the prize pool, the ring and the pride of being the RGPS Joplin champion.
