Tang Straightens Out Meyer
Level 18
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Mike Tang opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Vincent Meyer called on the button.
Tang bet 40,000 on the flop of 7♠9♣J♣ and Meyer called. Tang then checked on the 2♠ turn and Meyer checked back.
The 8♣ river completed the board and Tang bet 70,000. Meyer called. Tang showed A♦10♦ for a straight, which was good to beat out the top pair of his opponent with K♥J♥.
