John Caldwell Eliminated in 11th Place ($3,744)

Kirk Brown

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Short-stacked John Caldwell moved all in preflop and was called by Derrick Yamada to put him at risk.

John Caldwell: J♦3♣
Derrick Yamada: Q♣10♣

The flop of K♠J♣J♥ gave Caldwell the lead with trip jacks, but Yamada was still open-ended and the turn 6♣ further improved him to a flush draw.

Of course, the river was the A♣, giving Yamada both the straight and the flush to take down the pot, sending Caldwell to the rail in 11th place.
