After being left short from the previous hand, Bob Mather got the rest of his 35,000 stack into the middle after an open from Aquil Salahudeen to 15,000.

Salahudeen seemed like he didn't want to call, but he eventually tossed out the chips to put Mather at risk.

Aquil Salahudeen: A3

Mather was in good shape to score a double with his superior ace, but the runout was extra brutal as it came 210594 to give Salahudeen a straight on the river to send him packing.

Platt Gives Anthony a Swift Exit; Degroot Lays Waste to White

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jeff Platt
Jeff Platt

Anthony Swift moved all in preflop for around 40,000 and was called by Jeff Platt and Alexander White to put him at risk.

Platt and White then checked through to the river 28510J where Platt announced a bet of 27,000. White thought about it for a good while but eventually found a fold.

Platt then tabled KJ for a rivered pair of jacks.

"Wow, that is so sick!" Swift sighed and shook his head as he tabled J9 for a missed straight draw and an inferior jack. Platt was pushed the pot to bring his stack to 400,000 while Swift made his exit.

Ironically, White moved all in the very next hand with KJ himself but could not improve against the 44 of Michael Degroot and he too was sent to the rail.
