Nowak Does it Again

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a preflop betting bonanza, Wayne Nowak and two other players got all their chips into the middle, with Nowak covering.

Player 1: AJAll in
Player 2: 66All in
Wayne Nowak: QQ

Nowak was well in the lead with his queens, but the flop of AK8 gave it to Player 1 with his ace.

Crazily enough, the turn 5 gave Nowak a flush and the river 9 secured him the pot while the other two players were eliminated.

Lewis Puts Opponent in the Blender

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a heads-up flop of Q2Q, Jon Lewis checked to the button, who bet 6,000. Lewis then check-raised to 20,000, which his opponent called to see the turn 9.

After some thought, Lewis placed out a bet of 56,000, which sent his adversary into the tank.

After almost two minutes of intense chip shuffling, the player eventually slid his cards to the muck and the pot was pushed to Lewis.

Grimes Takes It Down

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Lewis Gets It in With the Nuts; Shah Exits

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a heads-up turn board that read 9Q3J, Jon Lewis got it all in against Samip Shah, who covered.

Jon Lewis: K10All in
Samip Shah: J9

Lewis was well in the lead with his nut straight, but still needed to fade the four full house-outs of Shah. Lucky for him, the river A only improved him to Broadway and he was shipped the pot for a big double.

Left with less than a big blind, Shah exited shortly after.

Grimes Holds with Sixes

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A short-stacked player moved all in preflop and was called by Frank Grimes to put him at risk.

Player: KQAll in
Frank Grimes: 66

The at-risk player would need to improve to stay alive in this flip, but the runout of 4104107 could not do it and he was sent out two spots from the money.
