Bhaskar Setti opened from middle position before the player in the hijack jammed for 14,300. In the big blind, Joshua Thomas called and Setti called as well.

On the 10♥4♠2♣ flop, Thomas check-called a bet of 11,000 from Setti.

The 7♦ turn checked through to the 4♥ river which saw Thomas lead for 22,000. After some deliberation, Setti painfully decided to let it go.

Murrell Doubles Through Barksdale

Heads-up to a turn with the board reading A♠10♦7♠6♦, Keith Murrell bet 8,000 from the small blind and Nick Barksdale called on the button.

On the 5♠ river, Murrell jammed for his remaining 26,000 which sent Barksdale deep into the tank. After over a minute he decided to toss out the call.

Murrell tabled 7♥7♦ for a flopped set which was good as he got maximum value on the river against three-time MSPT champion Barksdale.

Mo Nuwwarah opened to 2,000 from early position and was called by Andre Allen in the hijack as well as both of the blinds.

The K♣8♣6♣ flop checked through to the 7♥ turn which saw Nuwwarah bet 2,500 and only Allen called.

The river brought the 6♦. Nuwwarah fired a second barrel for 6,000 which caused immediate discomfort to Allen. After around 30 seconds he decided to flick in the call.

Nuwwarah was bluffing with a missed straight draw while Allen made the right call with his underpair to drag the pot.
