On Day 1a the $200,000 guaranteed tournament saw 138 entrants with 17 advancing to Day 2. Day 1b gets underway at 11:00 a.m. local time with Day 1c kicking off at 5:00 p.m. local time.

Players will start the tournament with 30,000 in chips, facing blinds of 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes each until late registration closes after Level 8, after which they will extend to 40 minutes. There will be a 15-minute break at the end of every two hours of play. The tournament will continue until only 12.5% of the field remains, at which point players will bag their chips for Day 2 on Sunday, October 27. Participants can play in multiple Day 1 flights, and if a player bags chips multiple times, their smaller stack will receive a minimum payout while keeping that stack in play.
