Action was picked up on the flop between three players, with roughly 35,000 already in the pot and the board showing Q♦3♦7♥.

A player from early position was all in for 12,500, Jared Swinger was all in for 38,500 in the small blind, and the under the gun player putting both at risk.

It was a cooler flop as the early position player flopped top pair, Swinger flopped bottom set and the under the gun player flopping middle set. The player under the was poised for a double knockout, but once the turn came the 3♠ Swinger improved to quad threes, which left him in shock. The river was the 5♦ and Swinger took in a massive pot to nearly triple him up and eliminated the early position player in the process.

Sowell Flops Trips and Sends Out Ferrero

A player under the gun raised to 1,500, and was called by both the small blind Jeff Sowell and the big blind Michael Ferrero.

The flop came K♣10♥10♦ and it checked the under the gun player, who bet out 2,000. Both Sowell and Ferrero made the call.

After the 6♥ on the turn, both the blinds checked and the under the gun player bet out 3,600. Sowell made the call, before Ferrero raised all in for 11,600. Both under the gun player and Sowell made the call.

Both players checked after the 8♠ on the river. Sowell quickly turned over Q♣10♣ for trip 10's, as the under gun player tossed his cards in the muck. Ferrero showed K♥5♥ before exiting the tournament area as Sowell scooped the pot.
