Day 1a Completed
Day 1a of the $600 Main Event is in the books here at RGPS Rungood Resort Tunica. A total of 163 hopefuls made their way to Horseshoe Tunica with the goal of finding a bag. However, at the end of the night just 20 players advanced to Day 2 and will be in the money.
Leading the way from today’s flight is Andrea Hizer. She started off the day on a roll and never looked back as she held the chip lead throughout the evening on her way to a bag of 650,000. In second place is Jacob Foley, who burst the bubble late in the night as he finished with 502,000. Rounding out the podium in third is Kody Lyons with 476,000
Many notable players came out for Day 1a but were unable to find a bag. Some of these include 2004 Main Event champion Greg Raymer, fan-favorite and dirty diaper enjoyer Nicholas Rigby, and Rungood regulars Walker Miskelly and Forrest Kollar.
