Raymer Gets Tricky

Greg Raymer opened to 1,400 from early position and was called by Brandon Jackson next to act, as well as Steve McCluskey in the small blind.

On the A♥7♥7♦ flop, Raymer lead for 1,200 and was called by both opponents.

Raymer fired again for 4,000 on the 9♦ turn which was only called by Jackson.

The river was the A♣. Raymer checked and Jackson quickly checked behind.

Sanh Vuong limped from under the gun before BJ McBrayer made it 2,000 to go from middle position. On the button, Morgan McBrayer called and Vuong came along as well.

On the A♣7♥5♠ flop, BJ McBrayer continued for 2,000 and both opponents called.

The turn brought the 7♠. BJ did not slow down as he fired a second barrel for 3,000 and only Morgan McBrayer called.

On the 8♦ river, BJ led for a third time for 5,000, and got a fold from his wife, which he may be hearing about on the car ride home.

A pot was brewing between Russell Boyette from early position and Robert Richardson from middle position.

On the turn with the board reading Q♦7♥2♥6♠, Boyette led for 5,000 and was quickly called by Richardson.

The river brought the 10♥. Boyette slowed down with a check and Richardson quickly jammed for his remaining 13,500. Boyette did not take long before he stuck in the call. Richardson tabled A♥6♥ for a rivered flush while Boyette mucked as Richardson got there on the river and got the full double.

The RunGood Poker Series has announced a partnership with ClubWPT Gold and the $5M Freeroll Invitational set to take place in December of this year at the Wynn Casino.

The tour has launched the Golden Passport Podium promotion for the remaining RunGood Resort season tour stops in November.

At each stop, players will have the opportunity to accumulate points based on their tournament performance, vying for a spot on the coveted podium. The top three finishers on each Golden Passport Podium leaderboard will win a seat into the prestigious $5,000,000 ClubWPT Gold Freeroll Invitational, set to take place from December 13 to 15.

In addition to the tournament entry, each podium winner will receive a $1,500 travel stipend, ensuring they can participate in this landmark event.
