Friedman Thins the Field
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Brandon Friedman bet 2,700 from middle position on a flop of K♠6♠5♣ and an opponent in the small blind raised to 8,000. Friedman called and the 3♦ fell on the turn.
The small blind then moved all in for 13,500, and Friedman called with K♣9♣ for top pair. His opponent had 8♠7♠ for straight and flush draws, but the Q♣ river was no help and Friedman earned the knockout.
