Russ Dunlevy limped in from under the gun before a player in the cutoff raised to 2,000. Christopher Caruso called on the button, as did Dinesh Purohit in the small blind, before the big blind reraised to 10,000. Only Caruso called.
Both players checked to the river on a board of A♥8♦2♦3♦9♣ where Caruso bet 5,000. His opponent quickly called, and Caruso turned over 9♠8♥ for two pair. The big blind mucked and Caruso, who unsuccessfully fired seven bullets during yesterday's opening flight, took down the pot.
