Lanning Sends One Out, Dunlevy Gets Carried Away

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player in middle position raised to 1,200 and Dinesh Purohit called in the cutoff. Russ Dunlevy then three-bet to 10,500 on the button and Joel Lanning called in the big blind. The middle-position player committed his last 9,200, while Purohit also called.

The flop came K39 and Lanning led out for 10,000. Purohit folded, but Dunlevy raised to 25,000. Lanning then moved all in. "I got a little too carried away here, boys," Dunlevy said, turning over 55 and tossed them into the muck.

Joel Lanning: 99

The at-risk player had flopped top pair, but Lanning had a set and held on through the 6 turn and J river to send his opponent to the rail.
