Putinas Shoves the River to Double
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Heads-up on a flop of 5♠7♠Q♦, a player in the hijack bet 2,000 and Gintautas Putinas called in the big blind.
The hijack bet another 3,000 on the J♣ turn, but this time Putinas came back with a raise to 8,000. His opponent called and the 3♥ fell on the river.
Putinas then moved all in for 10,400, and the hijack again called. Putinas showed Q♥5♥ for two pair and his opponent flung his cards into the muck.
